Global People Project is a London based non-profit made up of creatives, technologists, producers, educators and entrepreneurs.

There is now an opportunity to join our international team as a board member.
We are looking for candidates with significant leadership accomplishments in business, media, education, arts, culture and technology who are inspired to innovate learning and understanding in today’s global age.
The board serve as a trusted advisors to the directors as they develop and implement Global People Project’s strategic plan.
They offer leadership, governance and oversight:
+ Representing Global People Project to stakeholders; acting as an ambassador for the organisation.
+ Participating in fundraising so that Global People Project can credibly solicit contributions from foundations, organisations, sponsors and individuals.
+ Partnering with the directors and other board members to ensure that board resolutions are carried out.
+ Approving Global People Project’s annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; being informed of, and meeting all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
+ Reviewing outcomes and metrics created by Global People Project for evaluating its impact, and regularly measuring its performance and effectiveness using those metrics; reviewing agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings.
+ Serving on committees or task forces and taking on special assignments.
Successful applicants will be change-makers with a passion for innovation, a track record of leadership at a senior level, experience of fundraising and prior board involvement.
